This necklace has been made by casting a shell fragment in sand using recycled silver. It has then been made into a pendant with the 18 inch chain being strung through two hoops on the top of the shell. The gold plated necklaces are also made from recyceld silver but then gilded gold here in Sheffield by a local small business. The coating of gold is thick, lustrous and long lasting.
