These two one-of-a-kind brooches are formed by pressing different shell textures into wax and then casting them in recycled silver using the lost wax method. The gold brooch has then been gilded with a thick layer of liquid gold here in Sheffield. The pins are made from recycled silver and then kept in place wherever you decide to pin them by a rubber pin back.
